Privacy Policy

DaycareProfit ("Service", "we", "us") is operated by EUROLINKED LLC, an Illinois limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use DaycareProfit, how we use it, who we share it with, and what your rights are.

1. Who this applies to

This Privacy Policy applies to people who sign up for and use the DaycareProfit web application at daycareprofit.com (the "Service"), and to people who browse our public marketing pages, blog, or resources without an account.

2. What we collect

We collect only the data we need to provide the Service.

Account information

• Your email address and a password (hashed; we never see the plaintext password)
• Your full name (optional, used to personalize emails)
• The date and time you signed up

Daycare and business information

You provide details about your daycare business so the Service can render the correct features. This includes:

• Your daycare's name and the U.S. state you operate in
• Number of children in your care (an integer count)
• How you get paid (parent payments, state subsidies, CACFP food program, or a mix)
• Family records you create (we store the family name you choose — typically "The Smith Family" — plus payment frequency, amounts, and notes you enter)
• Income and expense entries you create (amount, date, category, optional description)
• Receipt photos or files you upload

We do not collect detailed information about individual children. The Service is designed for daycare operators, not for tracking the children themselves. We do not ask for birthdates, government IDs, medical information, or other sensitive details about anyone in your care.

Payment information

When you add a payment method, we use Stripe to process payments. Stripe handles the card data directly — we never see your full card number, expiration date, or CVC. We store a Stripe customer ID and a subscription ID so we can look up your billing state, plus the last 4 digits of your card and its brand if Stripe returns them. Stripe's own privacy practices are described in Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Communications

If you email us or submit the support form inside the app, we receive your message and your email address. We use this only to reply.

Technical and usage data

When you visit the Service we automatically collect basic information your browser sends — IP address (we don't log this long-term), browser type, the page you visited, and the time of the visit. We store an authentication session cookie so you stay signed in. We do not run third-party advertising trackers, and we do not use Google Analytics or similar tools at this time.

3. How we use your information

• To provide the Service. Almost everything we collect is used to render your dashboard, save your entries, calculate your profit, and prepare your tax summaries.
• To process payments. Stripe charges your subscription. We send you receipts and renewal reminders.
• To send you transactional emails. Welcome emails after signup; trial-ending reminders; weekly digests (when applicable); receipts and invoices. You can't opt out of receipts because they're tied to your account transactions, but most other emails can be paused on request.
• To improve the Service. We may look at aggregate, non-identifying usage patterns to fix bugs and plan new features. We do not sell individual data or share it with advertisers.
• To comply with law. If we receive a valid legal request, we may need to disclose information.

4. Who we share your data with

We share only with service providers needed to run DaycareProfit:

• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe sees the payment data you enter at checkout but not your daycare records. Stripe's privacy policy.
• Resend — sends our transactional emails. They see your email address and the content of the emails we send you (welcome, receipts, reminders). Resend's privacy policy.
• Supabase — hosts our database and handles user authentication. They store everything you enter into the Service. Supabase's privacy policy.
• Vercel — hosts the web application. They receive standard server logs (IP, request paths). Vercel's privacy policy.
• Cloudflare — DNS for daycareprofit.com. They see basic request metadata. Cloudflare's privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with advertisers, marketers, or unrelated third parties for their own purposes.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account (Settings → Delete my account), we immediately cancel your Stripe subscription and delete all DaycareProfit records associated with your account. Backups retained by our hosting provider may persist for up to 30 days before being overwritten in the normal course of operations.

6. Your rights

Regardless of where you live, you can:

• Access your data — everything you've entered is visible in the app while signed in.
• Correct your data — most fields are editable inside the app.
• Delete your account — Settings → Delete my account. We honor this immediately.
• Export your data — email daycareprofit@gmail.com and we'll provide a CSV/JSON export of your records within 30 days.
• Stop marketing emails — every non-transactional email has an unsubscribe option, or email us to opt out.

California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

You have the right to know what personal information we collect about you, the right to request deletion of it, and the right to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising. To exercise these rights, email daycareprofit@gmail.com.

EU / UK residents (GDPR)

If you are in the EU or UK, you have additional rights including data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We process your data under the contractual necessity legal basis (you signed up to use the Service) and our legitimate interest in running the Service.

7. Security

We protect your data with industry-standard measures — HTTPS for everything, encrypted database storage at rest, hashed passwords, and role-based access controls. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach occurs and your personal data is affected, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.

8. Children's information

DaycareProfit is intended for daycare business owners — adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we'll delete it.

9. International users

DaycareProfit is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your data will be transferred to and processed in the U.S.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and through a notice in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows the most recent revision.
